At the heart of every EuroCoil lies the secret to its plushness - our compact-coil innerspring unit comprised of hundreds of individually-wrapped, heat-tempered carbon steel coils, each one acting independent of one another. This independent action eliminates motion transfer and provides exceptional supple comfort comparable to the best upholstered furniture and never before found in a value-priced futon mattress. Add in layers of super-soft high-resiliency foam and wrap it in our exclusive "joy" natural cotton atting and you've got the best of both worlds - plush, sofa-like feel and healthful nighttime support.

Features:Each precompressed coil is encosed within a premium quality, non-woven fabric pocket and secured to a durable, yet pliable stabilizer panel. This creates a tightly-locked unit where each spring works straight up and down, conforming to each sleeper's body, eliminating "roll together."
  • Our futons have 25% more lace tufts than the competition. Tufts are tied inside the mattress to resist wear.
  • On either side of the innerspring unit is a 3" layer of high-resiliency convoluted foam, enhancing the independent action of the coils.
  • Inside every CoilWrap you'll find Gold Bond's custom-blended "JOY" cotton batting - the densest and most durable in the world - using nothing but the purest 50% long-staple cotton picker and 50% cotton linter available. We've been blending it ourselves for over a hundred years.
  • As each spring is formed, barrel-shaped for maximum tension, it is heat-tempered to 600 degrees. This process causes the coil to "remember" its shape and will perform, as designed, long after standard coils have lost their bounce.
